Up and running

My broadband is up and running-YAY! First, a belated Halloween picture
Daisy is a very reluctant hot dog. She wouldn't stand up when we put this on her. Don't worry, we only made her wear it for the picture. She greeted the trick-or-treaters in her birthday suit.

I finally finished my Tidal Wave socks! I used Walkin' on the Wild Tide Silkie Socks that Rock from the Rockin' Sock Club. I didn't use the Grasshopper pattern that came with the club shipment. I wanted to use a more traditional sock pattern for these because they're for my mom for her birthday. Every time she saw these while I was knitting she commented on how pretty they were, so I'm pretty sure she'll like them. This was a really fast and easy pattern, even though they took me so long to finish. Now I just have to knit up the RSC Summer of Love Lace Socks, but the Lenore's are tempting me to knit them first. As promised here is a picture of the Mystic Waters Mystery KAL. The pattern is easy to follow, and from the charts, looks like it will be lovely. Of course, I'm behind on the clues already. I'm half-way finished with Clue 1, and Clue 2 came out Wednesday. I knew this would happen though, so I had a little talk with myself about it being OK to go my own speed. Knitting shouldn't be stressful. Anyway, that gives all the speedy knitters a chance to work out the bugs and come up with all the tips for us slow knitters. Thanks for all of your kind words. Yes, I am planning to sell my hand dyed yarn. I am working on setting up shop on Etsy and hope to be ready in a week or so. I'm really excited!
