I finally managed to get a picture of my in-progress Smokin' Socks. I'm loving this pattern--it knits up fast and is really easy to memorize. I can even talk and knit at the same time, which is a real accomplishment for me! As for the yarn, Claudia Hand Painted, I think it looked prettier in the skein that knitted up. But, I still like the colors.
A HUGE thank you to my awesome friends/test knitters who are knitting up my secret project (you know who you are). I can't wait to show you all what they've been knitting up in my new ColorPlay yarn! Thanks to those of you who visited my shop! I will be dyeing up some fun new colors and hope to have them in the shop before too long.
Daughter #1 arrived today for the Thanksgiving holiday (she is my professional sock model--you can see her and her lovely feet on Knitty Gritty episode 803). Daughter #2 comes home tomorrow, and my son on Thursday. I can't wait to have them all home at the same time! We spend a lot of time laughing!
