Anniversary

I don't have a lot of knitting to share, but I did have some airplane time last week and finished my first Monkey sock.

Aloha from Waikiki Beach! We spent the last few days in Honolulu--what a crazy place. I was completely overwhelmed by all the noise, people, traffic. We did have fun though. We hiked to the top of Diamond Head. The crater reminded us of a scene from Lost.

We also rode the waves at Waikiki in an outrigger canoe (the theme of Hawaii Five-O was playing in my head) and went up to the Banzai Pipeline on the North Shore to watch the big wave surfers. Now we are on Hawaii for the rest of our trip. It is the opposite of Oahu--peaceful and quiet. Ahhhhh!
