We stayed at the Princeville Hotel on Kauai. They were closing down for renovation so we went the last week they were open and got an incredible ocean view room for $90 (plus some of Larry's hotel points) per night. I told you it was too good a deal to pass up! Here are some views from our room.

This is a view from the Poipu golf course we played.
And this is me, being my nerdy self, learning the hula.
On the plane ride home I was able to finish off one of my socks-in-progress, and started the second right away. These are a long overdue gift for a friend that moved to Portland.

Now, if someone would just bring me a lovely salad with some pineapple...

Love the socks, and what beautiful photos from Hawaii! Sounds like a great trip!
what a great trip! check out the award I nominated you for on my blog!
We've stayed at the Princeville hotel too, though not for as great a deal as you got! Lovely photos by the way. We're heading to Maui and Oahu in November and this puts me in the mood.
I'm also working on a pair of socks in the same colorway. Yours look fantastic! Mine will be fraternal twins because I don't have the patience to match them up.
Would I by chance be that friend tha moved to Portland????
I sure hope so.......
I love the blog you are soo funny
