I was tagged by my quick-witted hilarious friend, Cockeyed, of sock monkey fame for this!

The rules of the game get posted at the beginning. Each player answers the questions about themselves. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5-6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answer.

1. What was I doing 10 years ago? Driving my three kids (and usually a few of their friends) around in my mini-van. Watching lots of kids' basketball games. Quilting - I think I was president of my Quilt Guild too. Working part-time at my youngest daughter's school. Did I mention driving kids around?

2. What are 5 things on my to-do list for today (not in any particular order)? Re-skein and photograph more yarn for my shop. Clean the house (this is on my list every day, but it rarely seems to get done!) Go to the post office (I've been selling off some of my old quilting books on Amazon). Go to lunch with my quilty friends - the Ninepatchers. Make a dent in the pile of paperwork on my desk.

3. Snacks I enjoy. Chocolate. Coffee with sugar and half & half. Ice cream - Hagen Dazs is my favorite. Tortilla chips and salsa. Dried mangos. Biscotti.

4. Things I would do if I were a billionaire. Buy lots of open space land and donate it to land conservation groups. Travel. Give money away.

5. Places I have lived. LA, Bay Area California, Sierra Foothills California, Massachusetts, Scotland.

6. Jobs I've had. Production worker in a sheet metal shop, admin assistant, computer programmer, yard duty aide at my kids' elementary school, quilt shop salesperson and quilting teacher.

7. Peeps I want to know more about:
KnitOneQuiltToo - she is so creative and prolific, all the while home schooling her kids.
Knitquest - another super creative mom.
Lavendarknits - one of my favorite Sockateers.
Purlsbeforefrogs - artistic, interesting, and a prolific sock knitter.
Purlsjustwannahavefun - she's got a great blog and gets so much knitting done, I'm envious.
